Mountain View PTSA is always striving to do great things for its school, teachers and parents.  Today more and more parents want to take an active role in their student's education.  Our PTSA membership goal this year is involve even more parents (moms, dads and grandparents), more teachers, administrators, and more students in Mountain View PTSA.

Volunteers Needed
Parents/Grandparents/Family Members - We have several volunteer opportunities available throughout the school year that need to be filled as it takes a village....If you have talent in a certain area, -OR- if you have some time to give, we need you.  If you can help, please send us an email at

Some of what we are looking for:
volunteers for the SASC - Southern Association of Student Councils - October (need 200 volunteers - see details below)
volunteers who have communications or marketing skills
volunteers are needed for Miss Mountain View Pageants in March
volunteers to serve food for the Baccalaureate Ceremony in May
volunteers to come to school during lunches to sign students up for Red Ribbon Week in October

* The October Event - Oct 11-13th - 200 volunteers are needed for this prestigious event.  Mountain View High School has been awarded the honor of hosting the Student Council Southeast Conference.  We are in need of the following: Chaperones, Hospitality, and Transportation Hosts.  We also need professional volunteers: Nurses, EMT's, etc. Email


* 1st 9:00am - 12:00 noon - Mountain View Health & Wellness Fair and Expo
This event is open to the community. 
We are looking for health & wellness vendors to participate in this community event as well as home-based/small business owners to promote their goods & services.  Click
